This is the Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") of Penny and Mary, Inc. ("Penny and Mary" or "us" or "we"). Penny and Mary is committed to maintaining privacy protections for its users. We provide an online platform for couples and third party vendors ("Experts") to ask and answer wedding planning related questions and provide a listing of wedding related Experts (the "Services"). The Privacy Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect, use and store the personal information you provide to us. Our Terms of Use, which can be found at, incorporates by reference this Privacy Policy, governs your use of our Services, any content or information contained on or in the Services, the Penny and Mary website at and any of its subdomains (the "Website").

By using the ServiceS or the Website, you accept the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use and you expressly consent to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not accept the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services or Website. Please review the following carefully so that you understand our privacy practices.


    We collect “Non-Personal Information” and “Personal Information.” Non-Personal Information includes information that cannot be used to personally identify you, such as anonymous usage data, general demographic information we may collect, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, preferences you submit and preferences that are generated based on the data you submit and number of clicks. Personal Information includes information that can be linked to a specific individual, such as username, email address, password and login information for third party sites and other information which you submit to us at the Website. Penny and Mary does not collect any Personal Information when you do basic searches on the Website. However, certain services we provide require you to authorize us to collect Personal Information.

    1. Information collected via Technology

      Google Analytics. We may also use services hosted by third parties, such as Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”), to assist in providing the Services. Google Analytics uses Cookies to help us analyze how users use the Website.     2. Personal Information you provide us by using the Services

      In addition to the information provided automatically by your browser when you visit the Website, you will provide us with Personal Information when you register through the Website or Services and login, such as your email address, username, password and login information for third party sites (e.g. Facebook or Twitter). You may also provide us with additional Personal Information, such as contact information, if you participate in a promotion or sweepstakes. Penny and Mary complies with the privacy policy of Facebook, Twitter and other third party services providers whose services are integrated with the Services. To use certain elements of the Services (e.g. to ask a question) you will need to register and create a personal account. By registering, you are authorizing us to collect, store and use Personal Information, including your email address, username and password in accordance with this Privacy Policy. In addition, if you login through a third party service, you will provide such service with the same Personal Information described above to login.

    3. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA")

      Penny and Mary is committed to complying with all aspects of the COPPA. Penny and Mary does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register for the Services or send any personal information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to Penny and Mary or through the Services. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.     • Personal Information

      In general, the Personal Information you provide to us is used to help us communicate with you. For example, we use Personal Information to contact users in connection with the provision of Services to users, in response to questions, to solicit feedback from users, to provide technical support, and to inform users about promotional offers. We also share Personal Information with vendors who are performing services for Penny and Mary, such as the Experts and other service providers who send communications to you on behalf of Penny and Mary. Those vendors use your Personal Information only at our direction and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Like Penny and Mary, the Experts and our other third party vendors, respect and will protect your privacy, data and personal information. We do not rent or sell your Personal Information to any third parties, unless we have your consent.

    • Non-Personal Information

      In general, we use Non-Personal Information to help us improve the Services and customize the user experience. We also may aggregate Non-Personal Information in order to track trends and analyze use patterns on the Website. Periodically, we might share aggregated information on usage behavior such as the Expert profiles viewed, Experts contacted and questions asked for market research or other purposes and will not contain any personal identification information of any individual. This Privacy Policy does not limit in any way our use or disclosure of Non-Personal Information and we reserve the right to use and disclose such Non-Personal Information to our partners, Experts, advertisers and other third parties at our discretion.

    • Targeted or Behavioral Advertising

      Targeted advertising (also known as Behavioral Advertising) uses information collected on an individual's web browsing behavior such as the pages they have visited, the searches they have made, the type of device they have used, or the orders they have placed. This information is then used to select which advertisement should be displayed to a particular individual via the Services. We may share information related to your use of the Services, including device type, UUID, and click tracking, with third party advertisers for the purpose of selecting an appropriate audience for their advertisements, but only after either removing from such information anything that personally identifies you or combining it with other information so that it no longer personally identifies you.

    • Mergers, Acquisitions and Similar Business Transactions

      In the event we undergo a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your Personal Information as well as Non-Personal Information may be among the assets transferred.
