There isn’t any set amount that’s considered appropriate for a wedding gift. You give what you can afford.

General rule is  around $50 and could go up depending on how much you think the wedding cost. If you want to save, consider doing a DIY gift. If you are good with that.

$50 is a good amount. If it's a simple low-key wedding $25 is fine too.

Usually the cost of food per person if you can gauge it based on the event. Btw, ok to send gift after your wedding as long as w/in the year!
