My mother and I have decided to do the flowers ourselves, but I'm not sure how much I should budget for them. We're getting married in May, and I want all white flowers-- mix of peonies, white hydrangeas, gardenias, cabbage roses, etc (just NO baby's breath)-- and lots of greenery (love this wedding: http://www.stylemepretty.com/2012/09/20/los-olivos-wedding-at-demetria-estate-from-onelove-photography/) I have 3 bridesmaids and he has 4 groomsmen. We want minimal decor in the church (just some nice flowers for the alter), there are 15 rectangular tables-- I'd like 2 centerpieces on them, as cheese boards will be in the middle-- the fireplace will need a garland, and a couple extra pieces for the cake table, guest book, and buffet table. What kind of estimate should I make concerning price?

Depending on how many, how large or full you want the arrangements I would budget about $500. If you truly want peonies and hydrangeas you might add $200 as they are among the most expensive. This is purchasing from a discount store. Check Hobby Lobby and Michaels if you have them in your area, and even Wal-Mart before checking other places. After that your budget may need to go up a bit.
