Heels or flats? My dress is long, and I'm worried about tripping! Any tips or suggestions would be great

Have you hemmed the dress? And, are you clumsy in heels? Personally, I walk better in heels, so I lean towards them (especially if you don't need to hem your dress with them!)

Heels. Heels makes woman feel sexy so flats is a no no for me at the wedding and if you worry about tripping I suggest you just practice walking with heels before the wedding or you could choose wedding shoes that is not that higher.

I totally agree with you. I have the same problem like Bethany. Heels hurt the sole of my feet but there is no way I will wear flat shoes on my wedding.

This is a great question. Just to give you a visual: http://pinterest.com/charlestonphoto/footnotes/ You will see some shoe ideas. OK.........wedding shoes with heels ARE ALWAYS put to the side when dancing. If your dress is lengthened to fit the heels, when it comes to really fast dancing and you take off the shoes, the dress will drag the floor. Wal-Mart sells White Satin-Slippers )like bedroom slippers for less than $10. They fit like a glove, have rubber soles and you can dance all night. No one usually sees your shoes anyway, so why not?? You will be grateful for the comfort. Too bad they don't make Male Black ones!! Guys shoes always hurt their feet"s" !!!!

I am going to disagree. A beautiful well fit pair of shoes will allow you to dance the night away. From my clients find Nina's and Badgely Mishka's are more comfortable than other popular Bridal shoes. Order 1/2 size up and slip a foot petals ultra thin pad under the ball of your foot for extra cushioning. BEfore the wedding put on a pair of cotton socks and then your shoes and wear them around the house. The socks will give it a little extra stretch.

Your shoes are hardly ever seen if your dress is long. Comfort is the name of the game. White satin form fitting bedroom slippers from Wal Mart. Less than $10 bucks. Rubber bottoms for great dancing. They are PERFECT WEDDING SHOES. I guarantee you will toss the high heels aside for dancing! http://www.charlestonweddingphotographers.com/ http://pinterest.com/charlestonphoto/boards/ http://pinterest.com/charlestonphoto/footnotes/
