We love our Great Dane, Sadie, but she's still kind of a puppy. While I think it'd be adorable to have her in the ceremony, I'm a little afraid of all the things that could go wrong. I mean, I've seen where dogs pee on the bride, run off with the rings, knock over the grandfather, etc. And, with how big she already is, it would not be a small disaster if one was to happen. I need a vote: To include the dog or not

Ah! I love dogs and think it's adorable when they're included in the wedding! Invest in doggie training :) That should help

Dogs are great. They are a liability. Dogs are really fully settled down til the age of 3-5 yrs. old. You can have a successful "dog-bearer", but have the dog taken away afterwards. Use a tiny white drawstring bag holding your rings and attach with Velcro (makes is very easy to remove) to his collar. Cute idea!

Simple . . . have the dog walk down the aisle (leashed . . . either his regular one decorated with flowers, or maybe a special leash made with material matching the bridesmaids' dresses) with a member of your bridal party. There's no reason you have to worry about trusting puppy to walk down on his own.

Indeed! Invest in doggie training and go for it!! Dogs so love to be included, and they want to please...all they need is the understanding and training to be with the Program! BEST of luck!
