I want to ask my future sister-in-law to be my 5th bridesmaid, but when we (me, the FI, her, and her hubby) were having dinner last week, she was remarking how she was excited to be going to a wedding this fall where she wasn't in it. She was a bride last winter and a bridesmaid TWICE this summer. I'm not getting married until next year, but I'm nervous to ask. What if she doesn't want to be a bridesmaid again?

If you're not getting married until next year, I would just wait until later to ask her. I'm sure she'd love to be your bridesmaid after she's had time to recover from this summer :)

Aww, I'm sure she'll say yes, especially if she knows you just want her to be there to help you celebrate and you're not going to put her to work (or stick her in an ugly bridesmaid dress!)

All you can do is ask. "I would be honored, "Becky" if you would be one of my bridesmaids. I will totally understand if you do not wish to do so."
