Our ceremony is going to be from 3-3:30, with a cocktail hour and then reception from 4:30-9:30pm. That's plenty of time right?
Location: New York City, New York

Yeah, that should be long enough. Most receptions I've been too lasted between 5-8 hours, with one exception with a backyard reception where we partied until the sun came out :) (of course, the bride and groom left before 1am, but the rest of us decided to help by finishing off the wine ;)

Yes. Of course, if you have plenty of food and an open bar, your guests may want to stay longer ;) Especially if the music is good.

Most wedding reception should be no more than 2 or 3 hours.
