You can maintain the gown by dry cleaning it at least once a year to avoid it turning yellow. You should also get it clean as soon as possible to avoid the stain set on the fabric permanently. And don’t use plastic to pack up your gown because it can create permanent yellow stains and even wrinkle up the fabric. There are also cleaning companies that specialize in gown preservation, and it’s better to approach these specialists than to do it yourself. That way, you can even get ideas from them on how to maintain your gown.
