My budget was $5k food, flowers & dress. We had it at the MGM in Las Vegas. There were 45 guests that paid their own flight & hotel.

$12,000 in 2009 on Long Island in NY. 100 guests. Outdoors in my in-laws' backyard under tents. Used a lot of non-wedding-specific vendors. Caterer normally did corporate barbeques, and we rented the tent, tables, and chairs from them, as well. DIY favors. No wedding party except a Best Man. Biggest expense was the 5-piece steel drum band. Wore a red dress I bought online for $85.00 and didn't wear shoes. Instead of flowers on the tables and to decorate the favors table, we visited a local greenhouse - getting a discount for the bulk purchase - and bought potted plants. Guests were allowed to bring them home afterwards. Didn't waste our money on a limo, but did have a wonderful photographer throughout the ceremony and reception, and a videographer for the ceremony only. Officiant, although paid, was a professional friend, so got a bit of a discount. Ceremony music, a violin and 'cello, was a gift from a friend.
