If you love daisies and are having them as unique wedding reception decorations at your wedding, consider giving out daisy-themed favors, too. The same applies for any other flower you might use. You may also use flowers depending on the season of the year you are getting married. For a summer wedding, daisies and calla lilies are great, as well as forget-me-nots and amarilyses.

It is all about personal preference and what is in season! Once you have picked your color palette take a look at what fresh blooms are available around your wedding day that blends with your overall vision.  Be sure to compile inspirational ideas that your floral designer can view, whether they are photos from weddings or your favorite printed dress inspiration can help mold the perfect vision and help your florist understand you!  Think statement flowers and personal touches for your bridal bouquet; it will be featured in all of your wedding day photos.  If budget is a concern this is the perfect place to focus your specialty flowers.  I’m a firm believer in quality over quantity for bridal bouquets, now is the chance to use the lush exotic blooms! Don’t forget to add a personal touch, this is the perfect spot for a small family photo in a charm or a piece of your mother’s wedding dress.  A small touch that only you will know is there on your special day.
