One way to save money on liquor is to tell the waiter to ask each of the guests if they want hard drinks before serving them.

Have a dry wedding. We thought we'd get complaints, but no one seemed to mind. Alcohol is not required for guests to have a good time, so long as the rest of your wedding is well planned and the food is good.

Serve wine and beer and a wide variety of soft drinks and the new festive fruit drinks and ice teas already in pitchers for self service or cups or glasses with umbrellas.
